Finding a Choctaw County arrest or booking record depends on the custody stage and the office that holds it. This private resource identifies official paths to the sheriff, court, state corrections, and records-request channels. It does not publish booking-photo galleries or host official records.

Purpose and Record Sources

Alabama generally makes public records available under Ala. Code ยงยง 36-12-40 through 36-12-45, subject to exemptions and reasonable fees. That does not mean every record appears online. In Choctaw County, the sheriff is the local booking-record custodian, the circuit clerk keeps court filings after booking, and the Alabama Department of Corrections maintains its separate offender search for people in state custody.

We bring those official paths into one reference point. The county's old online roster address was not working when reviewed, and custody may be at a contract jail while a replacement local facility is under construction. Those facts make direct confirmation especially important. We do not reproduce arrest records or photographs.
